Ride On Toys

There are quite a few different types of pocket bikes.

2.5hp
This is purely aimed at the car park toy or the fireplace ornament. Most clubs will let you race although they will be far outclassed by the 4.2hp bikes.

4.2hp
The 4.2hp bike is probably the cheapest bike of them all to run. There are two classes for both juniors and adults and as the bikes are equal the racing comes down more to rider skill.

6.2hp
These bikes are the quick toys and are ideal for the person wanting a fast bike but not quite up for racing yet. A few small modifications though will soon have it up to production specifications.

Production
This is the most popular class. Most bikes come ready to race and produce between 7.5 and 8hp. These bikes are pretty reliable but routine carb and clutch adjustment are required.

Supers
This is the 500gp class of pocket bikes. These bikes are extremely fast and need a lot of care and attention. If you have never been around a racing two stroke before, this is not the bike for you.
